Project Manager in theory and in practise

When comparing existing theory and found practise in Wärtsilä Finland Oy it can be say that these match into each other perfectly. Wärsilä has made strategical decision when they created harmonised job description for project manager even tough we know that project managers can exist in really different projects even within same company. But this tells only that it is excellent to have shared understanding on positions responsibilities and tasks and that all can understand those and agree as theory base is the same.
