Comparison between theory and practise
As descriped in part " Training & Certification path for PM/Wärtsilä PMO" Wärtsilä is currently running in theory three PMI's certification processes: CAPM, PMP and PgMP. PMP is targeted for Project Managers and experienced Project Engineers and CAPM for Project Engineers, Project Controllers and in some cases for newly appointed Project Managers as well. There is third certification option in Wärtsilä's path model: PgMP but at the moment maturity is not yet in that level that Wärtsilä could run Program Management certifications in a larger scale. In Power Plants is no certified PgMP's yet.
